My sister and I were talking about going overseas for a holiday and at the same time, attend a concert of bands/performers that will probably never come to Singapore.. Like Lifehouse or Dishwalla, Howie Day.. I just found out (better late than never) about many many many festivals in Europe and Australia/New Zealand.
Glastonbury FestivalHeard about this while watching MTV Screen yesterday. This show called Glastonbury was introduced. I think it's a documentary on the 30th anniversary of the festival. Apparently, it's a major festival that takes place almost every year, in June if I am not wrong. And MUSE performed in 2004. I just found out last night when I was watching their Live at Glastonbury DVD.
2007 Kylie Minogue, The Killers

2006 Franz Fredinand
2004 MUSE, Jet
2003 Foo Fighters
Next Year, MUSE will be performing again! Along with Jet and The Killers. How cool is that? And and! Here's my ultimate fulfil-able dream.. MUSE will either seriously drop by Singapore after the festival, like Franz Ferdinand did this year. This festival takes place in January and February. So I'm praying and hoping that MUSE will drop by after! *buzzes* Or I will fly to Australia to catch them live! *buzzes somemore* In the second option, not only will I be able to travel (FINALLY!), I will get to watch MUSE live! OHH MY GOODNESS! *buzzing continues*

Big Day OutCarling WeekendThis is held at Reading and Leeds, think there might be other venues as well. Not too sure which time of the year it is held, but from what I found, should be August. Anways, MUSE and Franz Ferdinand played this year.

Carling WeekendFestivals are really cool.. Do we have something like that here? more things for me to check out!
It's just extremely exciting for me to find out where MUSE is playing live at! Hee! And all of these festivals are tempting me to hop on a plane and go, whether or not I have school. It'll be totally cool! I think concerts are way better when you get to experience it overseas. It's not as strict as here. No recording and stuff, I mean not that I want to. Plus, it just sounds better elsewhere. Here, Esplanade is WAY too strict, and it just doesn't sound good at the Indoor Stadium. It doesn't matter if it's loud, but it cannot sound like noise. Indoor Stadium makes music sound like noise when it's loud. -_-
Boy do I want to go overseas.. *sigh*

I saw MUSE on TV today, EMAs. They performed Starlight and as always, they sound really good. They won an award too, for Best Alternative Act. YES! They are considered alternative? I didn't know that. Anyway, for the first time, I got to see an actual interview with them. Short but still an interview. I love them! If you haven't already realised.. ;)
