me and my sisters got lost on e road last nite!!! tts e interesting thing tt happened! heh!! it was scary too though!! here's wat happened..

after a day of being out,enjoying Corpse Bride and havin dinner,we headed home from Raffles City! i was e driver for tt night! i didnt noe which way to go! so my elder sis had to give me directions!! so,first thing tt happened was,she gave me wrong direction! she told me to turn left! so i kept left! then awhile later,she realised tt she made a mistake and told me to turn right instead! of course by then,i missed e turning coz e traffic was quite heavy! but it was ok then coz she knew another way home! then! i made a right turn awhile later only to realise tt i was on e wrong lane!!it was a split traffic thing! so i was on e wrong side! suppose to be on e right of e road! but in e end,after i turned,i was on e left!! and i was frantically trying to lane change! but no one gave me?! so wat happened? we were on e wrong expressway!! we were heading towards Changi!! EEEeeeeeek!!!

so!! i decided to get off at e first exit tt i see! and we ended up at Kallang area!! THEN!! we missed more turns tt would lead us back on e correct expressway!! eventually,we ended up at Geylang!! we got off e main road and into one of e smaller roads! and my younger sis got abit creeped out! coz it was e red light district and all!! then! i was stuck at e end of e small road,where i had to make a right,for e longest time! coz e main road was super busy!!! and there didnt seem to be a traffic light up e road!! it was insane coz everyone's crazy!! ppl cross e road like e road was for pedestrians! and drivers dun give way!!! -_-

after i was finally able to get out,i had to cut 3 lanes coz i had to make a left!! i was soooo glad i got out of there!! and i was even more glad tt i wasnt alone!! i would have stopped and cried!! so thankfully,after tt little nightmare on e road,we were finally back on e right track!! and we got home eventually!! hahahaha!!

this past week was great! well sorta! i was a chauffer for a week! picked my younger sis up from sch mostly! went to clementi for lunch with my sisters! went to Queensway! went to Anchorpoint! and today,we went to e most number of places at one shot! went to Tiong Bahru Plaza for breakfast with my WHOLE family! went to Woodlands! then went to Jurong Point! then went to Anchorpoint to get groceries! then went to holland for dinner!! WAH!! alot of fuel used! i didnt do ALL of e driving! my sis and i took turns! it was fun!! we've still got lots to learn though! :)

so! driving is tough sia! especially when u have shitty ass ppl who r really insane and they dun seem to take other ppls' safety into consideration! AND some of them r DAMN inconsiderate! MAN! i've had ppl tailgate me.. dun let me lane change! signal already dun let me lane change! chey chey!! wah! really! my sis has also come across alot of xiao drivers!! cant explain online like tt! hehehe! but its very scary one!! especially for us! coz we're sooo inexperienced!! very nerve wrecking!! and honestly,havin e triangle plate doesnt help.. ppl dun care! they still do all e funny things tt will totally stress u out!! brainless evil drivers!! -_-

ohhh!! we were at Woodlands today! and it poured!! really poured!! e rain was so heavy tt i had to switch on my headlights!! if not ppl cant see when they're lane changing!! very scary leh!! everyone was goin slow! except for a few crazy ppl who drove at e usual dry land speed! XIAO!! visibility was like crazy!! all i saw was grey!! and headlights!! i could barely see in front of me!! so i concluded tt after today's experience,i can drive in any kind of weather!! and whenever it rains,i can drive!! coz i experienced e super bad rainy roads!! hehehe!! :)

so a couple of significant things happened e pass few days! there's e good stuff.. and e bad stuff! now,let me start with e bad..

so! my family went for e usual,every sunday,grocery shopping.. they went to Takashimaya.. to e Cold Storage.. bought e usual stuff.. bread,eggs,ham,bacon.. breakfast food.. so wat's bad abt tt? i've got a minor case of food poisoning.. upset tummy.. frequent trips to e bathroom.. and somehow,i got fever too! SO i just ended up feeling sick and all weak! how did tt happen? the ham.. e ham was totally not fresh!! and by e second day,which was tuesday,it was spoilt! usually ham can be kept till like wed or thurs! BUT! this one was spoilt!! by tues!! k i didnt prepare e ham.. and no one knew it was spoilt just by lookin at it! it was only when it was prepared tt i knew something was wrong!! it tasted funny!! so yeah! now my tummy's messed up!! i cant eat solid stuff! i cant eat too much! i feel like my tummy cant take it!! like it has shrunk and cant hold as much food as it could before! and if i eat stuff tt r too solid,my tummy starts burning and churning! like e mechanism inside is breaking down!! eeeeeeeeeek!!! =..(

The Good:
well,2 memorable good things happened on e same day! SUNDAY!

1) there was an NUS Dance concert on sun! and me and jess signed up to help out backstage! and then,we realised,we've never helped out backstage before! it was a new experience! learned alot of backstage stuff! i had to move props arnd! some were heavy!! and i met new frens! e rest of e new ppl! who signed up to help backstage too!! i think they're really nice ppl! we all had alot of time to spare and to sit and do nothing! and we ended up entertaining each other! which was really cool!! :)

2) this! this is e experience of a lifetime!! i was soooo happy! and so were my sisters!! BECAUSE!!! i got my new car!!!!!! YES!!!! went to collect it on sun!!! now its parked downstairs!!! so happy!! i've gone to pick my sis up from sch,go clementi and queensway in my new ride!! im e luckiest 20yr old alive!!!!! wheeeeeeee!!!!! *confetti for shh-me!!*

tts e name of e new shop here.. in my neighbourhood! owned by this girl tt i absolutely am not impressed with and who is probably younger than i am.. a poly kid from wat i gather..

let's just say tt e whole idea of having a shop here is bad bad bad bad bad bad Bad Bad Bad Bad Bad BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!! and i dun like it!! why?! here's why:

1) i went into her shop once to see wat everything's like.. well,its nothing spectacular.. not my type of stuff! so! it mainly targets e younger generation.. and here.. there're more adults than kids!
2) e location's just bad!! here,all u have as customers r ppl who actually live here! and her frens! and how many frens can she actually have for her to rely on them to give her business rite?! they're e only ones who noe abt it! there r no crowds here! so therefore there's gonna be alot less customers!! if u wanna start a business,u gotta have it where there are crowds of ppl walking abt! tt way,there's a very high chance u'll get customers!
3) e earrings she sells,ex! one medium sized pair, abt $10ish! compared to wat i make,its alot! for me,e big big elaborate kind,im selling for $12ish! and apparently,her big earrings,r selling for $16ish?! and they look abit cha cha!! and they say tt it's handmade! i think e ones i make r alot better in quality! CHEY!
4) she's got no sense of theme.. tts wat my sis said.. e girl handed out flyers arnd e neighbourhood! popped them into mailboxes! she's got very mixed themes! her shop: laid back,abit beachy and abit funky.. there's a guitar in there and she sells bikinis and stuff tt r quite trendy now.. on e flyer,fonts r e cute cute Comic Sans kind.. so dunno wat she's trying to get at!
5) i hate e lighting in tt place! i went in in e evening! and e lights she used.. yellow-ish lights! makes e colour of e clothes abit off! i saw this yellow-ish orangy top! and i was wondering.. wat exactly is e colour?!
6) e layout of e shop is not say very good! e shop is actually quite big! there a huge storeroom at e back! and e previous owner had quite a big counter coz he was a tailor! he needed e space! but when she opened e shop,she didnt change e counter left it e way it is! and she doesnt actually need such a big one! as if e shop isnt small enough,she has to put a central rack thing tt almost reaches e ceiling! so it kinda divides e room into even smaller parts! AND! with e center rack thing,u cant walk AROUND e room.. when u enter e shop and go say,left.. and u browse e clothes and stuff on e left and center rite? so when u wanna go to e right side of e shop,u gotta head back towards e door and to get to e other side! k i think im really bad at describing this whole thing! but otherwise saying,e space doesnt flow... k watever! i just dun like e layout! so e whole place looks really cramped!!
7) she seems to promote hard-labour fashion!! see.. she's got a cardboard with pics of her clothes on display! e models? her and her fren!! EeeeW! tts not e point! their background? this completely white room.. which i realised one day tt its e storeroom at e back! its ALL white!! white walls,white ceiling! everthing's white!! there's this one pic where there's this WHITE SINK at e back!! ??????? and in another,there's an AIR-CONDITIONER!! another one had a METAL STEP LADDER!! and in e last one! which is wat made me freak out e most.. they were posing charlie's angels style.. with ELECTRIC DRILLS!!!! HUI & JESS!! U GUYS GOTTA COME SEE THIS!! YA'LL WILL FREAK!!! and there was no effort to make e pics look more professional and more beautiful! no attempt to try to make e backdrop look remotely like tts professionally taken! they didnt drape some nice coloured fabric to add some colour and texture!! no attemp to make a sink or a ladder not look like a sink or a ladder!! JEEEEZ!!! its really.. bad!!! and tts an understatement!!
8) i dun like her! she pisses me off! her presence makes me not wanna be arnd her! she's e typical teenager who stares at u with e i-dun-like-u look.. or e wat-r-u-doin-here-u-dun-deserve-to be-here look.. yeah! tt kind! i saw her a few times while waiting for a cab on sundays! and she stares! like i invaded her territory or something! AND! i saw her once in like 3cm heels! 3cm! tts not high AT ALL!! and she cant walk in it! she walks like something in her body is broken! its so ugly for a girl to be unable to walk in heels!! if u cant walk in heels,dun even think abt wearing one!!!
9) i dun think she's e one paying for e rental of e place! i think her parents r paying for everything! i honestly do not think tt someone her age will have enough money to open her own shop! tts wat disgusts me e most! if u wanna do ur own business,use ur own money!! DAMN!!
10) she's really silly! she's wasting alot of money! she can actually save e rental money for something else! all she has to do is work from home!! like me and my sis!! ;) not only will she be able to save on rental,but she doesnt have to worry abt decor!! just step up on publicity!! and get ppl to drop by her place! prepare a catalogue for ppl to browse thru or something! afterall,its IN e neighbourhood!!

so in conclusion, i honestly do not think e shop will be there long! coz she's silly!!! -_-

well,i keep getting mail tt say 'Bamboo Flooring..' wat up with tt?! i dun need bamboo flooring!! anyways,just a comment! i keep getting mail with almost e same title... -_-


blogspot is messed up! for me at least! i wanted to update long ago! but then e 'Create' page is a lil wrong! so i tot i couldnt update! but then! i realised tt i can! thanx to my sis! so conveniently scrolled down to show me tt i can update! you see.. i didnt scroll scroll e page down before! silly me!!


i kinda got cheated at work yesterday! as ya'll noe,im supposed to have started work yesterday rite?! false alarm!! im not starting work!! this is wat happened.. i went down to e company yesterday morning.. there were 2 other ppl there.. we waited and waited.. made a new fren! this girl called Isabel,who told me tt if she doesnt talk to somebody,she'll fall asleep! funny! so we chatted for awhile! then.. we realised tt something wasnt quite rite..
1) e lady we were suppose to report to was late.. quite e very late..
2) e lady at e reception/counter told us tt they're actually not expecting anyone to start work today.. so we were all like 'Uh ohh!'..
3) on e day of e interview,i or rather we (e 3 who were there),was told tt we will be working with a team of temp staff.. so we tot.. hmmm.. tt would mean tt there r maybe 10-ish temp ppl? but when we were there,there were only 3!
4) we called our recruitment agency (turns out we're all from e same agency!).. then it was confirmed.. we were not suppose to report for work tt day!
DAMN!! no wonder there were only 3!! coz e rest were told to come another day!! so we had to go home! and wait for a phonecall to confirm e date we are ACTUALLY suppose to report! -_-

so! here's why e 3 poor souls turned up on e wrong date.. when we signed up with e recruitment agency and we got e job,we were given this sheet of paper where there's all e infomation on it.. reporting date,time,pay,job scope.. ya noe,tt kind of stuff.. so on tt piece of paper,it said: CONTRACT DURATION- 3RD OCT (tentative start date) - 28TH FEB 06.. then,my agent told me : if there are any changes with e start date,i'll call u.. if not,u just go on e 3rd oct.. we didnt get any phonecalls during tt period of time! so we all assumed tt we are to show up on e 3rd! and we did! and it turns out tt we didnt have to! and e company didnt call us to let us noe!!! -_-


i did hard labour today!! well,kinda! i moved my comp!! from e usual mobile table to a permanent spot! MAN! it was hard! considering im not say THE strongest person on earth! i had to move e monitor and e CPU (is tt wat its called?! anyway...) by myself!! but i did it!! yay!! and i had to deal with ALL e wires! damn!! so many wires!!! so much dust!! YACK!! but i got everything under control! all e wires r nicely tucked away and coiled up! YAY!! i feel a sense of accomplishment!! heh heh heh!!
